Hello, I am Sinhye Hwang, founder and CEO of Beauty by Monica.
Ten years ago, I took my first steps in Mongolia, believing in new possibilities. At the time, the K-beauty market here was only beginning to grow, and there were very few chances to experience professional Korean skincare and beauty services.
Here, I founded Beauty by Monica on the expertise and philosophy of Korean beauty, focusing on bringing personalised care and healthy beauty to every client. Over the past ten years, we have grown together with our clients through unwavering trust and sincerity, and today we are recognised as a brand with deep experience and expertise in Mongolia’s beauty industry.
Alongside exchanges with many beauty professionals, I have been invited to international women’s entrepreneurship events hosted by the Mongolian government and public institutions to share the value of K-beauty. This means more than one company’s success. It reflects the bridge we have built between the Korean beauty industry and the Mongolian market.
Mongolia is now a market that many Korean companies and beauty professionals are watching closely. Having been part of that change from the very beginning, and having believed in the potential of K-beauty before anyone else, is a source of great pride for me.
